Welcome to Crystal Beach Movers! By using our services, including but not limited to moving, packing, storage, and related services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between you (the customer) and Crystal Beach Movers and set forth your legal rights and obligations. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services.
1. General Terms
- By booking a service with Crystal Beach Movers, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
- Crystal Beach Movers reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. You are advised to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
2. Services Provided
We offer the following services:
- Local Moving
- Long-Distance Moving
- Residential Moving
- Commercial Moving
- Moving and Storage
- Packing and Unpacking Services
- Specialty Item Moving (e.g., pianos, artwork, fragile items)
Our services are subject to availability and are provided based on the terms outlined in this agreement.
3. Booking and Payments
- Booking: To secure a moving date and time, you must provide a valid booking request through our website or by phone. A deposit may be required to confirm the booking.
- Payment: Full payment for services rendered must be made prior to or on the day of the move, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
- Cancellation and Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled moving date may incur a cancellation fee.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking, particularly for long-distance moves.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate information regarding the nature of the move, including the size of the home, number of items, and any special requirements.
- Preparation of Items: You are responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packed and ready for transport. Crystal Beach Movers is not liable for damages to items not packed by our team.
- Access to Property: You must ensure that our team has access to the property at both the pickup and delivery locations, including clear paths for loading and unloading.
- Valuables: We recommend that you remove valuable or irreplaceable items (e.g., jewelry, important documents, cash) from the moving process. Crystal Beach Movers is not responsible for any loss or damage to such items.
5. Liability and Insurance
- Liability: Crystal Beach Movers is fully licensed and insured to handle your move. We take every precaution to ensure the safe transport of your belongings. However, we are not liable for damages or losses arising from circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, accidents, or acts of God.
- Insurance Coverage: We provide basic liability coverage for your move. If you wish to purchase additional insurance for your belongings, please inform us before the move. Additional insurance may be available for an extra fee.
- Damaged or Lost Items: If any of your items are damaged or lost during the move, you must file a claim within 7 days of the move. Claims will be processed in accordance with our insurance policy.
6. Moving Restrictions
- Prohibited Items: We reserve the right to refuse transport of hazardous materials, perishable goods, firearms, explosives, and any items deemed dangerous or illegal by law.
- Specialty Items: Certain specialty items (e.g., pianos, large safes, antiques) may require special handling or equipment. Additional fees may apply for such items.
7. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
- While we strive to deliver your items on time, Crystal Beach Movers is not responsible for delays caused by weather, road conditions, traffic, or other unforeseen events.
- If a delay occurs, we will notify you promptly and do our best to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
8. Storage Services
- Storage Fees: If you opt for our storage services, fees will apply based on the size of the unit and the duration of storage. Storage fees will be agreed upon in advance and included in the contract.
- Access to Stored Items: You can access your stored items during regular business hours. Please contact us in advance to arrange access.
- Storage Liabilities: Crystal Beach Movers is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of stored items unless caused by our negligence. We recommend you purchase additional insurance for items stored in our facilities.
9. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be handled through binding arbitration in the state of Florida, and any legal fees will be the responsibility of the losing party.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
